Supporting Pregnancy in the workplace: Pregnancy overview by trimester including likely needs of the employee. How pregnancy can impact the employees’ behaviours and productivity at work. Managing pregnant employees. Attending Antenatal care – rights and pay. Pregnancy safety in the workplace including flexibility and adjustments. Around 80% of women suffer from Pregnancy sickness. This training will look at the legal obligations to pregnant employees, specifically in the context of Pregnancy sickness. What you should do if one of your employees is suffering from Pregnancy sickness. How to offer a sympathetic and supportive phased return to work and consider offering flexibility and adjustments in the workplace.

Mental and Physical Health Post Baby

60% of professional women will leave their organisation within a year of returning to the workplace after maternity leave.The most common reason is feeling unsupported by their employer.

Mental Health at the end of maternity leave including Post Natal Depression and lack of confidence and self esteem

Physical health including Perineal tears, Episiotomy or Childbirth Injuries and Urinary Incontinence.

Cesarean awareness and when a baby is born prematurely.

Changes to work on return and flexible working.
